Conrad "Conny" Schnitzler oli saksa eksperimentaalmuusik, keda seostati Lääne-Saksamaa 1970. aastate krautrocki liikumisega.
Ta oli Lääne-Berliini Zodiak Free Arts Labi kaasasutaja, Tangerine Dreami varajane liige ja ansambli Kluster asutaja.

"The yellow album was released in 1981 as an LP on the label of René Block's art gallery in Berlin, .. however, the music on the yellow album was actually distributed by Schnitzler himself as early as 1974 as “The Black Cassette”, probably in very small quantities. The yellow album is subtitled “12 pieces from 1974”. This in itself indicates something new, because until then Schnitzler's pieces generally covered the entire side of the record or cassette. Here he tries his hand at a shorter form for the first time.
...The music on the yellow album is a gentle, friendly breeze, fortunately miles away from the sentimental platitudes of the ready-made ambient music of the 80s. The yellow album is not only friendly through and through, it also documents an important step in Schnitzler's musical development."
