Uuesti kureeritud Giles Martini poolt, sisaldab 13 varem avaldamata sessioonide salvestusi aastatest 1963-1969. Lisatud on bändi viimaseks jäänud singel "Now and Then", mis avaldati 2023. aastal ja uued mixid The Beatlesi Anthology´ga seotud hitt singlitest: GRAMMY võitnud "Free As a Bird" ja "Real Love", milledel on uue hingamise andnud originaal produtsent Jeff Lynne, kasutades uuesti miksitud John Lennoni vokaale.
"Anthology 4´l" on 17 lugu, mida ei ole varem CD´l avaldatud.
Lisatekstid on kirjutanud Kevin Howlett koos sissejuhatusega, mis on koostatud 1996. aasta intervjuudest salvestatuna The Beatles´i lähedase sõbra Derek Tayloriga.
